Dear Colleagues,
it is our pleasure to invite you to the Annual Meeting of the German Medical Library Association (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für medizinisches Bibliothekswesen e. V.) 2025 in Linz, themed: “AGMB 2025. Create synergies: Information sciences and medicine in dialogue”.
Together with the local committee of the UB Linz, we have put together what we hope will be an interesting and varied professional program for you. There will be six lectures and three short presentations on various medical library topics.
As usual, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with your colleagues. The program includes coffee breaks, meetings, and working group sessions (hospital libraries, medical libraries at universities, and the founding event for the “Other” working group) as well as two evening events. On Monday evening, we will discuss the use of generative AI for study, teaching, and research.
This year's technical focus is on the use of artificial intelligence, transformation contracts, OPLs, and research support.
Thirteen companies will be present at the exhibition. Take advantage of this opportunity for personal exchange. In addition, product reviews will again take place in the lecture hall during the breaks.
