<MainHeadline>Text</MainHeadline><Pgraph><Mark1>Purpose:</Mark1> Traditional ophthalmic consultations often face significant challenges related to patient information attrition and heightened perioperative anxiety, which can negatively impact surgical compliance and outcomes. Eyejourney (Innoptix) presents an innovative, AI-integrated digital platform designed to address these issues by standardizing patient education and creating a more cohesive communication channel between clinics and patients’ home environments. The platform aims to improve patient experience, reduce anxiety, and optimize clinic workflows.</Pgraph><Pgraph><Mark1>Methods:</Mark1> The study was conducted in a clinical ophthalmic setting, where both surgical teams and patients interact regularly. Eyejourney was integrated into the clinic’s existing workflow, allowing surgeons and healthcare staff to utilize digital pathways for educating patients preoperatively, providing timely updates, and ensuring consistent communication. The platform’s usage spanned multiple stages of the perioperative process, offering both patients and clinics a more efficient and streamlined approach to surgical preparation and post-operative care. Patients engage with content at key points in their surgical journey, ensuring they are well-prepared and informed.</Pgraph><Pgraph><Mark1>Results:</Mark1> The introduction of Eyejourney resulted in a 60% reduction in patient anxiety levels, a key factor influencing surgical outcomes. Additionally, there was a notable 71% improvement in patient adherence to treatment protocols, highlighting the effectiveness of personalized, timely information delivery. For clinics, the use of digital consent and educational tools reduced “chair time” and administrative burdens, leading to a 50% reduction in post-surgical inbound queries. This contributed to a smoother, more efficient patient experience and optimized clinic operations.</Pgraph><Pgraph><Mark1>Conclusion:</Mark1> Eyejourney effectively bridges the communication gap between clinic and home, enhancing the overall patient experience while optimizing clinic resources. The platform’s ability to automate routine education and follow-up processes allows healthcare providers to focus more on complex clinical tasks. This results in improved clinic throughput, higher surgical success rates, and a better-supported patient journey. Ultimately, Eyejourney helps ensure patients are well-informed, reducing anxiety and enhancing surgical compliance, which leads to improved clinical outcomes. </Pgraph></TextBlock>
